Now, Ruf Records is the label of choice for Bernard Allison, Canned Heat, Sue Foley, Friend & Fellow, Imperial Crowns, Candye Kane, Aynsley Lister, Omar and the Howlers, Ian Parker, The Nighthawks and the Walter Trout. That's quite a list for any label, and the list is growing. With two great anthologies out in 2006 - Blues Guitar Women and now the Anthology, Ruf has shown quite clearly that the label is an awesome force in Blues. The fact that Ruf Records Anthology is a CD/DVD combo package that sells for a normal CD price is consistent with Thomas Ruf's philosophy that music should be shared with the fans in a way that brings them the artist's performance in all its glory.
